December 7

Mom, Dad, and I played a lot of cards when I was young, usually at this kitchen table. Here, Dad's camera on its tripod and with its timer delay records hot action in a rummy game. If you look closely by clicking on the photo for a clearer view, you can see a nuthatch in the plexiglass bird feeder just outside the window.

Nice sleuthing, Dann! Dad loved choral music, and we had a lot of disks from the Vienna Choir Boys, the Robert Shaw Chorale, and, of course, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in that rack.

Coincidentally, my dad has a BA in vocal music and spent half of his teaching career as a h/s choir director. He still has lots of choral music sitting around his house.

Back in the day, he had one of the best choral programs in the state.
