September 17

Garden House in the Gloaming, 2002.

This marks the halfway point of PicShers's run -- the first post in this one-a-day series was March 17. It is my intent to continue this for one complete year and then retire it.

Why?

'Cuz it's kind of a pain, Adam, for a number of reasons:

*Very few people are watching it, for one. And the one who is the most important viewer (to me) now has every single photo that ever could show up here on his own computer system now. If you catch my drift.

*It's a bit of a pain in the tushy. I can (and do) pre-load Blogger with a lot of entries at one time, but I still do have to come up with one photo a day from the archive. That can be hard for some times of year, especially late fall and winter, when neither Dad nor I did much in the way of snapshotting.

*But the main thing is application of available personal energy. I'm pretty well committed to seeing this thing through for a year, but am already looking forward to its replacement. And I'll keep that as a surprise for a while.

Understadable. Unfortunate, but understandable.

Oh, I think you'll like the replacement.
